Hey there! We are Rick and Carol

From a Dream to Reality

Our story started with a dream of Costa Rica that we’ve heard so much about. As a couple with a passion for nature and adventure, we envisioned ourselves hiking through misty cloud forests, zip-lining across the jungle canopy, and discovering the country’s incredible biodiversity—from curious sloths to the brilliant yellow eyelash viper.

But when it came time to plan, our excitement quickly turned to frustration. We spent weeks lost in a digital jungle of scattered blogs, outdated guidebooks, and conflicting forum posts, wishing for a single, trustworthy source with everything we needed.

Frustrated but inspired, we decided to build the resource we couldn’t find. And so, Costa Rica Tips was born: a central hub designed to make your travel planning seamless, inspiring, and fun.
